I Surrender

Lord have your way in me. I wanna know you more, I surrender.

As I’m driving to Starbucks for the 8th time this week (whoops) I turn on my Hillsong Worship playlist on my spotify account and these beautiful lyrics start to hit my heart. I needed a calling this week of my purpose and guys, it hit me SO HARD. listen to this song, think about it, analyze it and interpret it in your own life, I challenge you.

I have been praying non stop of SOMETHING to hit me about the Peace Corps. With all the concert lineups starting with Coachella and Bottlerock I got so upset that I won’t be participating at all for the next 2 years. But I really thought, what is my purpose? Why did I decide to sign my life away and help others as I pretty much started my own life here in Flagstaff. Well? My purpose is to share my love that God created, share HIS light to others and live through God. That is the answer.

Since I was young, 2 Corinthians 3:3 was my calling, as I will share it to you. It goes like this:

You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.
