Min ga la ba!

So if you’re reading this. I made it to Myanmar, Asia! Guys, these flights were wild. I got culture shock right when I got to the INT gates at the DC airport. My fellow volunteers which I like to call my Family have been so freaking helpful. Shoutout to MM5‘s for holding my hand as we took off in THE LARGEST AIRPLANE ON EMIRATES and massaging my back when it was needed. I am so blessed to have joined the Peace Corps and especially so blessed to have all of you for support. I love you all. This 17 hour flight from Washington DC to Dubai then to Myanmar was definitely a really rough goodbye as I had to say bye for 26 seconds to my amazing boyfriend Zakery, his family and my family. I want to let y’all know I am so safe and I am so excited to share my experience here in a whole different country for a while :) I will post some pictures of my flight experience as well as getting attacked with cameras from the Myanmar government (scary but it was for publicity so don't worry!) at the airport in Yangon.

I got my SIM card so I will message y’all on this app as it’s so much faster :) Thank you all for such an amazing goodbye and the support. Che Zu Ba. (This means thank you so much) :) TA TA for now! (ta ta) is goodbye in Burmese :)

p.s 26 seconds left :)
